COURT ORDER

Cucumber variety COURT ORDER is an early pickling hybrid characterized by high yield and excellent taste qualities. This parthenocarpic hybrid, predominantly female-flowering, matures within 40-45 days after germination, allowing for the quick harvest of fresh fruit. The fruits are cylindrical, large-buckled, white-tipped, crisp, and free of cavities and bitterness, reaching up to 12 cm in length. Fruits 6-8 cm long are ideal for jar canning, while larger fruits 10-12 cm long are recommended for professional pickling in barrels.

COURT ORDER exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and cladosporiasis. Additionally, the hybrid tolerates low nighttime temperatures, expanding its cultivation possibilities both in open ground and under plastic covers. Thanks to these traits, the variety is suitable for various climatic conditions and ensures a stable yield even under adverse weather conditions.

Cultivation agronomy includes sowing seedlings in early May at a depth of 0.5-1 cm, followed by transplanting into open ground at the end of May according to a 30x40 cm scheme. When sowing directly into the soil, it is recommended to do so at the end of May – beginning of June at a depth of 1-2 cm. Watering is done with warm water, surface soil cultivation is performed to avoid root damage, and cultivation is stopped once tendrils begin to intertwine. Fertilization is carried out every 7-10 days, alternating between organic and mineral fertilizers, beginning two weeks after transplanting seedlings. Protective measures against diseases and pests are applied as needed, which helps maintain plant health and increase yield.
