CVC 9608 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, intended for cultivation in protected ground and for fresh consumption. The plant is indeterminate, medium-branched, with predominantly female flowering, forming 1-2 female flowers per node. Leaves are medium-sized, dark green, and slightly wrinkled. Fruits are cylindrical, 12-14 cm long, with very dark coloration, small bumps, and white spines, giving them a characteristic prickly appearance. Average fruit weight ranges from 83 to 110 grams, with high-quality taste.

The hybrid features high yield and stable fruiting under various conditions, including polyethylene greenhouses, where yields reach 13.7-26.4 kg/m2. Dry matter content in fruits is about 4%, and total sugar content is 1%, ensuring excellent taste. Fruit marketability is very high — 99.3%, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation. Harvesting begins approximately 42 days after planting, and the fruiting period covers the autumn-winter season.

CVC 9608 exhibits resistance to common cucumber diseases and good cold tolerance, expanding its cultivation possibilities across various climatic conditions.
