Darya cucumber is an early-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The vegetative period ranges from 38 to 52 days depending on growing conditions. The plant features a vigorous bush up to 2.5 meters tall with strong lateral branches, which are recommended to be tied to supports for easier care and increased yield. To enhance fruiting, the main stem is pinched just above the trellis, and lateral shoots are pinched above the third node.

The fruits of the Darya cucumber have a cylindrical shape, length of 9 to 12 cm, and weight of about 90-115 grams. The skin is dark green with longitudinal stripes and large bumps, giving them an attractive appearance. The cucumbers have excellent flavor and are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing, including pickling.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases, which simplifies care and makes it suitable for both novice and experienced gardeners. Yield reaches 19 kg per square meter with proper care. Seeds are recommended to be sown in May, under plastic cover if necessary for frost protection, and the cover is removed after the threat of frost has passed. Regular care and attention to the plants ensure a stable and abundant harvest.
