DUKS

Cucumber DUKS is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid with a female flowering type, intended for cultivation both in plastic greenhouses and in open ground. The plant is indeterminate, characterized by strong growth and regenerative ability, which allows extending the harvest period until late autumn. Fruit set begins 37-40 days after planting, with one to three fruits per node.

The fruits of cucumber DUKS have an elongated-oval shape, dark green color, and large-warty surface with white hairs. Fruit length varies from 10 to 12 cm, diameter — from 3 to 3.5 cm, weight — from 40 to 140 g. The cucumbers have a beautiful cylindrical shape, do not yellow or become bitter, making them attractive for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting. The hybrid is characterized by high commercial yield, reaching 11.8-15.0 kg per square meter, and good transportability.

The special advantage of cucumber DUKS is its high resistance to diseases, particularly powdery mildew and downy mildew, as well as excellent cold tolerance.
