Cucumber F1

Cucumber F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and in protected soil. The plants are of medium height, indeterminate growth type, and have a well-developed root system. The hybrid is parthenocarpic, meaning it does not require pollination, simplifying cultivation and making it suitable for novice gardeners. The cucumbers have a cylindrical shape with large bumps, length from 8 to 12 cm and diameter around 4 cm, fruit weight varies from 50 to 120 grams depending on growing conditions. Cucumber F1 is characterized by high yield — up to 6.3 kg per square meter, as well as versatility in use. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and winter preservation. The hybrid begins fruiting 40–45 days after germination, allowing for an early harvest. Fruit color varies from light green to dark green, and the surface of the cucumbers is densely covered with white hairs and large bumps. A distinctive feature of Cucumber F1 is its resistance to major cucumber diseases such as brown spot, powdery mildew, and ordinary mosaic. This makes the hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. Cucumber F1 does not produce seeds for replanting, so it is recommended to purchase planting material from specialized stores.
