GERICH

Gerich cucumber is a large-buckled hybrid with cylindrical dark green fruits 12-14 cm long. The plant is generative with a cluster-type inflorescence, forming more than 2-3 fruits per node, ensuring high yield. The long peduncle facilitates harvesting, and the glossy fruit surface gives them an attractive appearance and good transportability.

This mid-early parthenocarpic cucumber is distinguished by stress resistance and a prolonged fruiting period, allowing for a stable harvest over an extended time. Gerich has a genetic absence of bitterness, making its fruits especially tasty and suitable for both fresh consumption and canning. The plant is resistant to major diseases such as cucumber mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and powdery mildew, reducing the need for frequent protective treatments.

The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and outdoors, expanding its usability. The maturation period is 37-39 days from sowing, enabling an early harvest.
