Gnomik

The cucumber Gnomik is an ultra-early hybrid variety with high commercial qualities and universal use. This compact bush hybrid is characterized by early maturity — the first fruits appear as early as the 4th-5th node, and the period from germination to fruiting is 37-42 days. The plant is predominantly female-flowering with limited lateral branching, which promotes abundant and uniform fruiting. Each node forms 3-4 fruits, ensuring high yield even at dense plantings.

The fruits of cucumber Gnomik are small — length 8-10 cm, weight 75-90 g. The zucchini are cylindrical, uniform, with even dark green coloration and finely warty surface covered with white spines. They do not yellow or develop mottling, making them attractive for sale and use. Flavor qualities are excellent: the cucumbers are aromatic, crisp, suitable for fresh consumption, salad preparation, and canning.

The hybrid is intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in late April — early May, followed by transplanting into greenhouses at the end of May — early June at a spacing of 40x40 cm. Direct sowing into greenhouses is also possible in mid-May — early June. Cucumber Gnomik exhibits resistance to olive spot and moderate resistance to true powdery mildew and downy mildew. Seeds retain germination for up to 7 years with proper storage, although it is recommended to increase sowing rate at the end of their shelf life.
