Hooligan

Cucumber "Hooligan" is a parthenocarpic early-maturing hybrid intended for summer-autumn crop rotation, cultivation in plastic greenhouses and light culture. Plants exhibit vigorous growth, a strong root system, and shortened internodes, which contribute to high fruit load and uniform ripening of numerous fruit set. Side shoots are determinate, with 2 to 5 fruit set per node, ensuring a stable and abundant yield.

The fruits of cucumber "Hooligan" have a cylindrical shape, length of 10–11 cm, and weight of 85–100 g. Their surface is smooth, slightly ribbed, with a beautiful gloss and deep green color. The plant's leaves are large and dark green, indicating high photosynthetic activity and overall health of the crop. Due to these characteristics, the fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to true powdery mildew (Px) and moderate resistance to zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), as well as tolerance to false powdery mildew and zucchini yellow mosaic virus. These traits make "Hooligan" a reliable choice for industrial cultivation in both protected and open ground conditions, ensuring prolonged fruiting and fruit preservation.
