Cucumber Catrin F1 is an early parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in protected ground and open ground with temporary film coverings. From germination to the start of fruiting, it takes approximately 39–41 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is medium- or tall-growing, medium- or strongly branched, with female flowering and cluster fruiting, forming 1 to 7 fruits per node. Leaves are medium-sized, dark green, indicating good plant development and resistance to adverse conditions. Cucumber Catrin fruits have a cylindrical shape, smooth surface, and light green coloration, sometimes with short stripes and white hairs. Fruit length varies from 10 to 14 cm, weight from 50 to 200 g, depending on growing conditions. A distinctive feature is the absence of a neck and genetic resistance to bitterness, ensuring excellent taste and high marketability. The hybrid has a finely ribbed fruit surface and is suitable for fresh consumption, home cooking, and canning. Cucumber Catrin F1 exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as powdery mildew, cladosporeiosis, olive spot, and false powdery mildew, significantly reducing the need for chemical protection. Yield reaches 9–11 kg/m² in protected ground and up to 13 kg/m² under film coverings, and approximately 5 kg/m² in open ground. Recommended for spring-summer rotation, making it a versatile and profitable choice for gardeners and farmers.
