KUMANEK

The Kumanek F1 cucumber variety is a bee-pollinated hybrid of early and mid-season maturity, suitable for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The plant has a short ripening period — from germination to harvest takes 45-55 days. Kumanek F1 is characterized by high yield, drought resistance, and resistance to many diseases, including powdery mildew. The plants are long-vined, branching, and easy to form, which simplifies care and harvesting. Kumanek cucumber fruits have a cylindrical shape with a warty surface and a length of 8 to 15 cm, weighing 50 to 100 grams. The cucumbers have a uniform, attractive green color with light stripes, tender and crisp flesh without bitterness. Due to their excellent taste and attractive appearance, the cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption, summer salads, and pickling or salting. The fruits withstand transportation well, making the variety popular for commercial cultivation. For successful cultivation of Kumanek, sow in open or covered ground at soil temperatures no lower than 18°C, to a depth of 2-3 cm, following a planting scheme of 50x30 cm. The plant requires timely watering, fertilization, and soil loosening. The variety tolerates rainy seasons and dry periods, does not require bright sunlight, and is resistant to adverse weather conditions. Proper fertilization and care contribute to forming a high-quality harvest with excellent commercial characteristics.
