Liszt

Liszt F1 cucumber is a high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type, developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. It is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The plant features a strong root system and well-developed leaf mass, ensuring resistance to heavy fruiting without fruit drop. A distinctive feature of the hybrid is its high lateral branching productivity, which forms continuously throughout the entire vegetation period, significantly increasing yield.

Liszt F1 is characterized by very short internodes, 7-10 cm long, which promotes the formation of a large number of fruits. Fruits are uniform, 10-12 cm long, dark green with large bumps and a small number of seeds. The hybrid is distinguished by its early maturity — 38-39 days, allowing for a quick harvest. Cucumbers are suitable for both fresh consumption and pickling or salting, making them versatile in culinary use.

In addition to high yield and fruit quality, Liszt F1 cucumber exhibits resistance to a number of common diseases, including cucumber mosaic, cladosporiosis, powdery mildew, and bacterial infection. Thanks to its rapid regeneration during frequent harvesting, the hybrid allows for effective management of fruiting and provides a stable yield throughout the season.
