MOSCOW CORNICHON CUCUMBER

The Moscow Cornichon cucumber variety is an early-maturing hybrid distinguished by high resistance to diseases and pests. The fruits of this variety have a spindle shape, green color, and weigh between 68 to 94 grams, measuring approximately 8-9 cm in length. They possess a crisp texture and are not bitter, making them ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting. Fruit production begins 40-45 days after germination, enabling an early harvest.

This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plants have medium-length vines and light-green leaves, with predominantly female flowers, which contributes to high marketability and yield, reaching 167 to 392 centners per hectare. The Moscow Cornichon is characterized by stable yield and meets agronomic standards for product quality.

Additionally, this variety exhibits a prolonged fruiting period, lasting up to 2-3 months.
