PARADOX

Cucumber PARADOX is a medium-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in greenhouses and open fields. The plant is indeterminate, weakly branched, with a female flower type, ensuring the formation of one to two female flowers per node. Leaves are large and green, and fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, medium-ribbed surface with spines, and bright green color. The average weight of the fruit is about 152 grams, and the taste is rated as good. The period from germination to the onset of fruiting takes 40-45 days, allowing the variety to be used for the first and second crop rotations.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield and disease resistance, including resistance to leaf yellowing. Commercial yield in film greenhouses reaches 24.2 kg per square meter. The plant is vigorous with a strong root system, which contributes to good tolerance of heat and drought conditions. Fruits retain their market appearance and flavor qualities for a long time, making the variety popular in the market.

Cucumber PARADOX is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting. It is recommended to plant at a density of 35-40 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring sufficient mineral fertilizers to obtain large fruits. Due to its adaptability and plasticity, the hybrid grows well in various climatic conditions, is resistant to fungal diseases and pests, making it a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners.
