PLATOV

Platov F1 — an early parthenocarpic hybrid cucumber, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses, especially during spring and summer-autumn periods. The vegetative period is approximately 40-45 days, allowing for early harvest. Plants have an open habit with good growth and moderate branching, and each node forms one to two, sometimes up to three female-type flower buds, contributing to high yield.

Platov F1 fruits are cylindrical, 12-14 cm long and weighing 110-140 g, dark green with small stripes. Their surface is moderately ribbed, covered with white spines, giving the cucumbers an attractive appearance. The flesh is light green, making the fruits appealing for fresh consumption and pickling. The cucumbers are well-suited for transportation, which is important for commercial cultivation and market distribution.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases: downy mildew, olive spot, as well as tolerance to ascochytosis and root rots. Additionally, it shows moderate resistance to false downy mildew. These qualities make Platov F1 ecologically adaptable and a reliable choice for farm greenhouses, ensuring stable yields and minimal losses during cultivation.
