PORTOS

Cucumber Portos is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid of universal use, suitable for both open field and protected soil cultivation. The plant is long-vined, indeterminate in growth, with large dark green leaves. Fruits are cylindrical, 7 to 9 cm long, with a bumpy surface and white spines. The average weight of one cucumber ranges from 63 to 94 grams. The fruits have a pleasant green color with short stripes, slightly ribbed structure, and medium-density white down.

This hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 260 to 522 centners per hectare, making it attractive for both hobby gardeners and commercial cultivation. The period from germination to first fruiting is 42-47 days. Cucumber Portos has excellent flavor qualities, allowing its use both fresh and for salads, pickling, and marinating.
