Razgulyay

The cucumber variety "Razgulyay" is an early-maturing hybrid that begins fruiting 45-48 days after germination. The plant is insect-pollinated, indeterminate, reaching a height of 1.5-2 meters, and is characterized by a high proportion of female flowers. The cucumbers have a cylindrical shape, 9-12 cm long and weighing 80-100 g, with large bumps and a brownish-spiculate surface. The fruits are green with light stripes, have thin, tender skin, dense, crisp, juicy flesh without bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption and pickling.

The hybrid "Razgulyay" is distinguished by high yield — up to 5-6 kg of cucumbers can be harvested per plant, and 15-20 kg per square meter. The plant is resistant to various diseases, including false powdery mildew, root rot, and olive spot, and tolerates adverse growing conditions well. This makes the variety a reliable choice for open ground.

Cultivation of "Razgulyay" cucumber is recommended to start with seed sowing in seedlings in early May, followed by transplanting into the soil at the 2-3 true leaf stage in late May — early June. Alternatively, direct sowing into the soil can be done at the end of May, following a 40x40 cm planting scheme. One to two fruits form in leaf axils, sometimes up to three, contributing to the plant's high productivity.
