Cucumber variety "Russian Festival" is an early and mid-early hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under temporary plastic coverings. The plant has a bushy form with a short stem of 40-60 cm and limited branching, which simplifies care and harvest. Cucumbers have elongated-oval or cornichon-shaped form, 6-12 cm long and 40-136 g in weight, with thin light-green skin covered with small bumps and white hairs. Fruits have excellent taste qualities, suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and salting. The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching 4.3-16 kg per square meter, and its fruiting period is extended, allowing for a prolonged supply of fresh cucumbers. The plant is parthenocarpic, ensuring stable fruiting without pollination. Sowing seedlings is recommended in early May, with transplanting into the ground at the 3-4 true leaf stage in late May – early June.
