SAFAA MIX

SAFAA MIX — mid-early productive hybrid cucumber pollinated by bees, suitable for cultivation both under temporary plastic coverings and in open ground. The plant is characterized by predominantly female flowering, strong growth, and weak branching, which significantly simplifies care and harvesting. The hybrid has high yield, reaching 5-6 kg per square meter.

SAFAA MIX fruits are cylindrical, 16-18 cm long, dark green in color, and have a smooth surface. They are uniform in size and weight, approximately 130 grams. Due to their delicate skin, sweet juicy flesh, and distinct cucumber aroma, these cucumbers are excellent for salads and have superior taste qualities compared to ribbed varieties.

The hybrid is resistant to powdery mildew and false powdery mildew, enhancing its reliability under various climatic conditions. Seedlings should be sown at the end of April, and transplanted into the ground at the end of May or beginning of June, when the plants have developed 3-4 true leaves. Direct sowing into the ground in May-June is also possible. The optimal planting scheme is 30x70 cm. Regular harvesting every 2-3 times per week is necessary to maintain high yield and quality.
