SIBERIAN CORNICHON

Siberian cornichon is an early cucumber hybrid distinguished by high yield and adaptability to various climatic conditions. The plant is medium-height, medium-branched, with an indeterminate growth habit and mixed flowering type. Fruit set occurs in clusters, with 4 to 5 ovules developing on a single flower. The vegetative period is approximately 41-46 days, enabling the first harvest to be obtained roughly 1.5 months after germination.

The fruits of Siberian cornichon have a cornichon type, measuring 5 to 13 cm in length, cylindrical or spindle-shaped with frequent bumps. The skin is thin and dark green, transitioning to a salad green hue near the base. Even if harvested late, the cucumbers do not overgrow, lose their crisp texture, or become bitter. The flesh is juicy and dense, without cavities, making this variety ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning.

Siberian cornichon exhibits high resistance to diseases, reducing the need for additional treatments and simplifying care.
