The efforts of originators (Nastenko N.V., Kachaynik V.G., and Gulkin M.N.) focused on establishing a balance between high-intensity fruiting and strong natural resistance to pathogens, which is essential for non-sheltered agriculture.

Fruit Morphology

The fruit architecture meets the requirements of both the fresh produce market and the pickling industry:

• The fruit length ranges from 9 to 10 cm, an optimal size for industrial and home canning.
• The texture is fine-tuberculate with pronounced spine formation, ensuring structural integrity and crunch.
• The deep dark-green coloration is maintained under intense solar exposure, reducing the physiological risk of yellowing.

Resistance and Cultivation
