Stella

Stella cucumber is a medium-early parthenocarpic hybrid for salad use, intended for cultivation in protected ground, including plastic and winter greenhouses, as well as indoors on windowsills. The plant is characterized by long vines and low branching, which simplifies care and promotes uniform fruiting. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 55–67 days, allowing for a relatively quick harvest.

The fruits of the Stella cucumber have a cylindrical shape, length of 20–25 cm, and diameter of 3.5–4.5 cm. They feature a dark green color, slight ribbing, and smooth surface. Fruit weight varies from 150 to 270 grams, with high uniformity in shape and size. A small stem and excellent taste make this variety particularly attractive for fresh consumption in salads and other dishes.

The Stella hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 23–27 kg per square meter, and resistance to major diseases such as cladosporiosis and ascochitosis. It requires good lighting conditions, which should be considered during cultivation. Due to its adaptability and stable yield, this variety is one of the best choices for winter-spring turnover and commercial production of high-quality cucumbers.
