Cucumber Tessa is a high-yielding early-maturing variety with a vegetation period from germination to the start of fruiting of 42-48 days. This parthenocarpic female-type flowering hybrid is characterized by stable and high yield, reaching up to 12.2 kg per square meter. Plants have medium branching, and fruits have a cylindrical shape with slight ovalness at the ends, length up to 10-12 cm and diameter of about 4 cm, weight of one cucumber is 100-120 g. The skin is intensely green, thin and slightly ribbed, and the flesh is light-salad colored, juicy and crisp, without cavities or bitterness.

The Tessa variety is resistant to a wide range of diseases, including fungal infections, and also tolerates frosts and stressful climatic conditions well. Due to its cold resistance and comprehensive disease resistance, cucumber is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. Up to 3-4 fruiting nodes form in the leaf axils, which contributes to high yield and stable fruiting.

Cucumber Tessa fruits are versatile in use: they are excellent for fresh consumption due to their tender and pleasant crisp taste without bitterness, and also ideal for pickling, canning and fermentation. Long storage life and resistance to damage make this variety attractive for gardeners and home preservers.
