Description
Cucumber variety 'Vasilek' is a parthenocarpic salad-type variety included in the State Register for the third daylight zone. The plant is indeterminate, medium-height, and medium-branched with a female flowering type and large green smooth leaves. The cucumbers have a cylindrical shape, length of 12-14 cm, diameter of 3.5-4.0 cm, and fruit weight of 115-124 g. The variety is characterized by high marketability and good taste qualities both fresh and in preserved form. It is resistant to olive spot and powdery mildew, and also has moderate resistance to ascochitosis.
