Cucumber variety Vovочка is an early parthenocarpic hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The plant is warm-loving and prefers fertile, moderately loose soil with neutral acidity. For successful cultivation, sufficient lighting is required, avoiding direct sunlight, while maintaining optimal humidity and temperature above 15 degrees Celsius, as lower temperatures slow growth. Seed sowing is recommended one month before transplanting into the soil, with pre-soaking and germination, and seedlings should be grown under good lighting, using grow lights if necessary. Watering is done with warm water, in the evening in open ground and in the morning in greenhouses, while fertilization is performed 5–6 times during the growth period. Suitable predecessors for planting include peas, corn, onions, beans, and parsley, whereas tomatoes, eggplants, zucchini, carrots, pumpkins, peppers, cucumbers, and squash are considered undesirable predecessors.

The plant is medium-branched with predominantly female flowering, forming one to three female flowers at each node. Stems are of medium size, and leaves are medium-sized and green. Cucumbers of the Vovочка variety have an oval-cylindrical shape, measuring 8.5–11 cm in length and weighing from 74 to 115 grams, with a length-to-diameter ratio of approximately 3:1. The fruits are bright green, slightly ribbed, covered with small bumps and dense white hairs. They are firm, crisp, and free of bitterness, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption, as well as for canning and pickling.

The Vovочка variety exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, true powdery mildew, and olive spot, and also demonstrates high tolerance to false powdery mildew. Fruit set begins on the 48th day after emergence, and marketable yield reaches 7.3 kg per square meter. Due to its qualities and resistance, this variety is a reliable choice for gardeners seeking an early and high-quality cucumber harvest.
