Zyatek

Cucumber Zyatek — a fast-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female flowering, entering fruiting stage 45-48 days after germination. Plants are indeterminate, medium-branched, with cluster formation of fruiting nodes: on average, 3-4 cucumbers form in one node, up to 6-8 fruits. Leaves are green, medium-sized. Fruits are dark green with light stripes, 10-12 cm long, 3.0-3.5 cm in diameter, weighing 90-100 g, slightly ribbed, white-tipped, without bitterness. Due to its universal use, cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and marinating. They can also be harvested for gherkins and cornichons.

The hybrid has high yield — up to 5.0–7.0 kg of fruit per plant. Plants have a strong root system and resistance to root rot, true powdery mildew, and tolerance to false powdery mildew. Optimal soil temperature for seed germination is 25–30°C. Zyatek is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, making it versatile and convenient for various cultivation conditions.

Seedlings should be sown at the end of April, with transplanting into the ground at the 3–4 true leaf stage in late May–early June. Direct sowing into the ground is recommended for mid-late May, with a recommended planting scheme of 50x50 cm. Cucumber Zyatek has an excellent tender flavor, no bitterness, and smooth fruiting, making it an outstanding choice for gardeners and farmers seeking high-quality, delicious harvests.
