The Irzhik eggplant variety is a high-yielding early-maturing variety intended for cultivation both in open ground and under film coverings. The plant forms a powerful and sturdy bush with a height of 60 to 70 cm. The fruits of this variety are large, round in shape with a slight ribbing, covered with a glossy black-purple skin and have a delicate white flesh. The average fruit weight ranges from 400 to 500 grams, and their taste qualities are assessed as very high, making the variety universal for all types of culinary processing.

For successful cultivation of eggplants of the Irzhik variety, it is recommended to use seedlings, planting them in greenhouses or open ground at a temperature not lower than +21°C. The soil should have an optimal acidity level of pH 6.0-6.5 and be well prepared with compost application. The distance between plants during planting is about 40 cm. Watering should be carried out as the soil dries out, and harvest harvesting should be performed as the fruits mature, ensuring maximum quality and quantity of the product.
