Kasatka is a mid-season eggplant variety intended for cultivation both in film-covered greenhouses and in open ground. Fruiting begins 120-130 days after germination, allowing for a stable harvest throughout the summer.
The fruits of the Kasatka variety have an elongated cylindrical shape with a dark purple skin possessing a strong gloss. Fruit length reaches up to 20 cm, and the weight is about 280-300 g. The eggplant flesh is dense, tender, white in color with a slight greenish tint, without bitterness, giving the product a delicacy taste and excellent culinary qualities.
