A perfectly balanced potassium-magnesium complex to boost crop quality and yield.
Description
Why Korn Kali became my go-to choice
When it comes to potassium nutrition, many agronomists look only at K2O content. However, my experience with the product from K+S Ukraina shows that element synergy is what truly matters. Korn Kali includes potassium (40%), magnesium, sulfur, sodium, and boron. This combination turns a simple fertilizer into a precision tool for quality management.
Application and Field Performance
I use this fertilizer for basal application. The granules are dense and do not create dust when loading into the spreader, which is critical for uniform field coverage. The application rate range of 100–450 kg/ha allows for a flexible approach based on soil analysis. On fields with high potassium uptake from corn or sugar beets, I stick to the higher end; on richer plots, I save inputs.
Results on Key Crops
The effect is particularly noticeable on potatoes and sugar beets. Thanks to the sodium and magnesium, sugar accumulation is more intense, and potatoes withstand stress better. For winter rapeseed, which is highly sensitive to sulfur deficiency, Korn Kali meets the plant's needs during early growth stages. The absence of phosphorus (0%) allows me to apply phosphate fertilizers separately, avoiding overpaying for extra mass where it is not required.
Practical Insights for Operators
- Handling: Stable, high-quality granules that don't crumble in the hopper.
- Logistics: Convenient packaging and predictable flow with any type of spreader.
- Economics: Precise cost control due to flexible, targeted application rates.
This is not just a fertilizer, but a balanced complex that delivers predictable results without any headaches regarding solubility or equipment clogs. Handling the 3rd hazard class requires standard safety measures, which is routine for any machinery operator.
