"Censor XL FS" is a combined fungicide based on the synergistic action of metalaxyl-M and difenoconazole. This formula turns winter wheat seeds into a robust barrier against pathogens by combining systemic properties with localized contact activity.

Key active ingredient functionality

• Metalaxyl-M: A phenylamide that provides prolonged protection from within the seedling. Its systemic activity allows for rapid absorption, ensuring the compound is distributed through the developing tissues to block Oomycetes development.
• Difenoconazole: A triazole that works by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis in fungal cells. It effectively suppresses the pathogens responsible for bunt, smut, and root rots, ensuring the health of the seed lot.

The product's formulation as an emulsion for seed treatment ensures uniform coverage and high adherence to the seed coat. This reduces the risk of the active ingredients being washed away by soil moisture, providing reliable protection during the critical germination phase.

Application and technical efficiency

Classified as a Hazard Class 3 product, Censor XL FS is a manageable and technological tool for intensive farming. With an application rate of 0.5–2 liters per ton, it offers an optimal balance between cost-effectiveness and biological efficacy. A single treatment provides comprehensive coverage against common issues such as Helminthosporium root rot, Fusarium root rot, and Septoria during the early developmental stages of winter wheat.

Because of its systemic mechanism, the fungicide performs consistently regardless of fluctuating weather conditions, ensuring stable crop density even in soils with high pathogen pressure.
