Synergy of triazoles in DIYA-Triazole Duo

The effectiveness of fungicidal protection for winter wheat directly depends on the ability of active ingredients to quickly penetrate plant tissues and block pathogen development. DIYA-Triazole Duo by ProPole is based on a combination of two triazoles: propiconazole and cyproconazole. This combination provides both curative and pronounced preventive effects.

Propiconazole acts as a powerful inhibitor of ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cells, disrupting the integrity of pathogen membranes. Cyproconazole, in turn, is characterized by high systemic activity and the ability to redistribute rapidly within the plant, reaching areas that the spray solution might not have touched directly. Together, they cover a broad spectrum of threats: from all types of rust (yellow, brown, stem) to septoria leaf blotch and powdery mildew.

Technical characteristics of the formulation

The emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation ensures stable performance of the working solution and high adhesion to the leaf surface. Due to an advanced system of surfactants, the product forms a protective film resistant to rainfall, which is essential during spring temperature and humidity fluctuations.

• Systemic and contact action: The product not only curbs the disease on the leaf surface but also penetrates the vascular system, providing prolonged protection.
• Flexibility of application rates: The range of 0.4–0.5 L/ha allows for adapting the intensity of the treatment based on the phytosanitary condition of the crops.
• Operational safety: Classified under hazard class 2, the product requires standard precautions. A maximum of 2 applications per season allows for safeguarding critical crop development stages, preserving yield potential.

Integrating DIYA-Triazole Duo into a wheat protection program provides agronomists with an effective tool against Helminthosporium leaf spot and Pyrenophora, which often cause premature drying of the foliage. Ultimately, this directly impacts grain filling and its overall quality parameters.
