When you are establishing the foundation for a future harvest, the reliability of seed treatment becomes a priority. "Spectral" is a contact fungicide that has proven itself in my experience as a solid shield for seeds. Working with winter crops—whether it's wheat, barley, or rapeseed—I understand clearly that the risk of losing seedlings due to root rot or seed mold is too high to compromise on protection quality.

Application and field logistics

The product comes as a suspension concentrate. This solution from F.Becker Underwood Ltd. and Agrico Ukraine is convenient because it mixes easily and does not clog the nozzles of treating machines, which is critical during large-scale operations. Applicants, including Agritema and the French division of Becker Underwood, ensure consistent composition quality. Given its Hazard Class 4, it is relatively comfortable to work with, lacking harsh odors or caustic effects, which is important for personnel spending long hours in the treatment zone.

Field Performance

• Crops: Winter rapeseed, Soybeans, Winter wheat, Winter barley, Corn.
• Targets: Helminthosporium root rot, Fusarium root rot, seed mold.

The main advantage is predictability. Fusarium and Helminthosporium are classic "troublemakers" that eat away at yield potential right from the start. "Spectral" coats the seed densely, creating a barrier that prevents fungal infection from developing even in cold, wet soil, which is particularly vital for winter crops.

Economics and efficiency

For an agronomist, it is essential that the product not only protects but also does not inhibit germination energy. In my farming practice, when working with cereals, "Spectral" has shown excellent compatibility with seeds, resulting in uniform emergence. Using this crop protection agent acts as an insurance policy that pays for itself by eliminating the need for reseeding due to poor emergence.
