Drive Kinematics and Knife Durability

The heart of the system is the epicyclic (planetary) knife drive. Unlike traditional wobble-box mechanisms, the planetary drive provides a smoother stroke with significantly reduced vibration—a vital factor for long operational hours in the field. The knife speed is calibrated to ensure a clean shear without stem pulling, even at high forward speeds.
