Description
Lily "Giselle" is an Asian hybrid variety ranging from 70 to 130 cm in height, depending on growing conditions. The plant features a sturdy stem and light green leaves that give it an elegant appearance. The bulb is white, and the shoot shape is narrowly lanceolate, ensuring compact planting.
The lily inflorescence is a wide funnel-shaped cone measuring 18–26 cm in length and approximately 14–15 cm in diameter. It contains 9 to 15 light apricot-colored flowers with a slight brown spot, blooming simultaneously in groups of 4–7. The flowers face upwards, have an almost flat shape, and do not fade during prolonged storage. The anthers are smoky-orange, and the pollen is red-orange.
"Giselle" blooms from mid-July for 15–20 days, demonstrating resistance to adverse weather conditions and pests. The plant is hardy and withstands transport easily due to its medium transportability. Thanks to the universal nature of the variety, it is suitable both for decorative landscaping and for cutting in bouquets.
