NORTHERN 22

NORTHERN 22 is an early-maturing flax oilseed variety, characterized by high productivity and adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions, particularly in Siberian regions and other areas of Russia. The vegetation period is approximately 93-95 days, which allows for quick harvest. The plants are uniform in height, flowering, and maturity, facilitating mechanized cultivation and increasing the efficiency of agrotechnical measures. Plant height reaches approximately 55 cm, and the mass of 1000 seeds varies from 8.5 to 9 g.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to fusarium wilt, lodging, and shedding, ensuring yield stability and reducing losses during harvest. Potential yield is 24-26 centners per hectare, while oil content of seeds reaches 46.4-51%, indicating high quality and efficient raw material usage. Straw of the variety is suitable for obtaining short fiber, expanding its application possibilities in technical industry.

NORTHERN 22 is intended for the production of high-quality technical oil and is responsive to fertilizers and quality soil treatment. The variety is adapted in various regions, including Volga-Vyatsk, North-Caucasian, Middle-Volga, Lower-Volga, Ural, West-Siberian, and East-Siberian, confirming its versatility and wide application in agriculture.
