Purpose and Design Features of the MZhT-F-11

The MZhT-F-11 liquid organic fertilizer spreader from the MashProekt series is a specialized semi-trailer unit designed for self-loading, transporting, mixing, and surface distribution of liquid organic fertilizers, as well as for the transport of technical water. The unit is engineered for operation with tractors of the 3.0–5.0 traction class (e.g., MTZ-1523, MTZ-2022, K-700). The tank is constructed from high-strength steel with anti-corrosion coating, which is crucial for handling aggressive biological substances.

Loading and Mixing System

A key feature of this model is the vacuum system, which provides automated self-loading of fertilizers from open reservoirs or manure pits. The loading process takes between 6 to 10 minutes depending on the viscosity of the substance and the depth of the fluid source. The internal mixing system prevents stratification and sediment buildup, ensuring a uniform concentration of nutrients during application. The hydraulic mixer drive allows for the preparation of the mixture directly during transport to the field.

Undercarriage and Terrain Capability

The MZhT-F-11 is equipped with a reinforced single or double axle trolley (depending on the modification) with wide-profile, low-pressure tires. This design significantly reduces ground pressure, preventing soil compaction in the fertile layer during critical stages of field operations. The pneumatic braking system ensures safe operation on public roads when the tank is fully loaded at approximately 11-12 tons, providing an optimal balance between payload capacity and field maneuverability.

Fertilizer Distribution Mechanism

For surface application, a centrifugal spreading mechanism is used, providing a working width of 6 to 12 meters. The feed rate is adjusted by the operator from the tractor cabin via a system of sluice gates. The mechanism allows for application rates ranging from 10 to 60 tons per hectare. The spreader design is engineered to minimize wind drift, which improves the efficiency of nitrogen utilization and reduces the environmental impact on adjacent areas.

Hydraulics and Aggregation

Aggregation with the tractor is performed via a standard towing hitch. The hydraulic system of the machine is powered by the tractor's hydraulic outlets, enabling remote control of the gates and the vacuum pump operation. The use of quick-disconnect couplings significantly reduces the time required for hooking and unhooking during shift changes or when switching to other types of equipment within field operations.

Operational Reliability and Maintenance

The machine is designed to withstand high humidity and aggressive environments. All components in contact with the liquid mass are made from materials with increased corrosion resistance. Routine maintenance includes cleaning the vacuum pump filters and checking the condition of the tank hatch seals. The simplicity of the design allows for current repairs to be performed by the farm's in-house mechanical staff, making this model an economically viable choice for medium and large-scale agricultural enterprises.

Applications in Agricultural Production

The MZhT-F-11 is indispensable for livestock farms that require manure effluent management. Beyond its primary purpose, the equipment is successfully utilized for top-dressing perennial grasses, pastures, and preparing soil for grain crops. The ability to quickly transform the unit into a water delivery or irrigation vehicle makes it a versatile tool, ensuring year-round equipment utilization in the production cycle.
