Mazin F1 Watermelon — an ultra-early hybrid of French selection type Ananas, suitable for cultivation both in open and protected ground. The ripening period ranges from 55 to 65 days after transplanting seedlings, allowing early market production. The plant is compact, moderately leafy, with strong stems and a branched root system, ensuring resistance to stress conditions such as cold, drought, and sudden weather changes. The hybrid is resistant to fusarium wilt and has moderate resistance to powdery mildew. Mazin watermelon fruits have an oval shape and light-orange color with a characteristic net pattern on the rind. Fruit sizes vary from 19 to 24 cm in length and 16–18 cm in diameter, with an average weight of 2–3 kg. The flesh is white, moderately firm, crisp, juicy, with a rich aroma and high sugar content, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The fruits have good marketability, retain freshness on the vine for a long time, and withstand transportation and storage well. For successful cultivation, use loose, weed-free, and moderately moist soils. The hybrid forms 3 to 5 evenly sized fruits even under adverse conditions.
