Technical Resilience Potential

• Phytopathological Defense: The genetic architecture of the variety provides a strong barrier against loose smut—the most dangerous disease affecting millet panicles, capable of destroying up to 30-40% of the harvest. Added resistance to melanosis is critical for maintaining grain quality in regions with high humidity during the ripening phase.
• Stem Smut Resistance: The unique defense mechanism of this variety effectively blocks the pathogen causing onion stem smut (in crop rotations where millet is adjacent to allium crops), positioning «Yuvileine» as a tool for soil phytosanitary health.

The practical value of this variety lies in its ability to form stable yields under moderate stress. As a product of the Ukrainian academic school, its physiological processes are adapted to the steppe and forest-steppe climatic zones.
