Parsnip «White Tusk» – a mid-early variety that forms a harvest 110‑120 days after germination. Medium-sized root crops (90–130 g) have white, slightly dry flesh with a delicate aroma and a sweet-spicy taste, while maintaining density and juiciness. Due to the high content of potassium, phosphorus, and B vitamins, this root crop is considered beneficial for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
The yield of the variety is 2.5–3.5 kg/m², and the root crops are easy to store – they easily separate from the ground and do not require complex processing. «White Tusk» is widely used in dietary food as a low-calorie product: it can be added fresh to salads, used in pickles, marinades, as well as soups, sauces, and vegetable sides.
The variety is distinguished by cold hardiness and unpretentiousness. When growing, plants require regular watering, weeding, soil loosening and feeding.
