Tree peonies are native to China, where they were initially used in medicine and later became a symbol of wealth and longevity, receiving the honorable title of "emperor's flowers". At the Moscow State University Botanical Garden, these plants are grown from seeds in a nursery, where they grow slowly and receive their name before taking a permanent place in the garden. This approach ensures healthy development and high quality of plants.
