Description
The Acapulco hybrid is distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought resistance due to its strong root system. It has a high compensatory capacity, enabling it to withstand delayed sowing and successfully utilize wide-row planting schemes. Rapeseed is resistant to lodging and demonstrates stability under stress conditions, including drought and low temperatures. The recommended seeding rate is 350-450 thousand seeds per hectare.
Special attention has been paid to disease resistance: the hybrid possesses genetic resistance to sclerotinia (gene RLM7), high tolerance to white mold and fungi, and resistance to pod cracking. Oil content in the seeds is 47-50%, with glucosinolate levels below 15 mmol/g and erucic acid content equal to zero, making the product ecologically clean and suitable for processing. Acapulco is cultivated using classical technology and is suitable for achieving stable and high yields under various climatic conditions.

Erucic Acid Content
Erucic Acid Content
The amount of erucic acid is assessed as a percentage of the total fatty acid content in seed oil. Initially, rapeseed varieties containing less than 5% erucic acid in their seeds were named low-erucic or "0" varieties. Later, this threshold was changed, and "0" varieties now ref... |
