Aurelia

Aurelia Rapeseed is a mid-early winter hybrid selection by Limagrain, with a high yield potential up to 70 t/ha. It features vigorous vegetative growth and stable productivity under various soil-climate conditions in Ukraine, including the Forest Steppe, Polesie, and Steppe. The hybrid exhibits medium-late flowering and efficient utilization of soil nitrogen, which contributes to maximum yield potential.

Aurelia possesses high winter hardiness and resistance to spring frosts, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under variable climate conditions. The hybrid shows high tolerance to major rapeseed diseases, including phoma (resistance gene RLM7), verticillium, cylindrosporiasis, and turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV). Thanks to these traits, the plant maintains healthy stems and resistance to pod cracking, positively impacting both the quality and quantity of the harvest.

Recommended sowing dates for Aurelia vary from early to mid-late, with a sowing rate of 350–500 thousand plants per hectare. Seeds are treated with the Cruiser OSR product, providing additional protection to the crop. The hybrid has low glucosinolate content (less than 15 mmol/g), improving raw material quality. Aurelia is a modern and adaptable hybrid that combines advanced breeding achievements with compatibility with various cultivation technologies, ensuring stable and high yields.
