Field Performance of the Capitol Winter Rapeseed: A Practical Review

When planning a winter rapeseed campaign, minimizing biological risks is the top priority. Planting Density and Yield Potential

Our field practice suggests that the optimal seeding rate for Capitol is between 500,000 and 700,000 seeds per hectare. Depending on moisture availability and soil preparation, we adjust the rate within this range to ensure maximum yield potential. We have seen firsthand that a harvest of 50–70 c/ha is not just a brochure number, but a consistent outcome when following an intensive cultivation program.
