Description
One of the key advantages of ES Danub is its high resistance to major rapeseed diseases, such as phoma, sclerotinia, cylindrosporiosis, and alternaria. The hybrid demonstrates excellent tolerance to dense planting and adaptability to various planting densities, ensuring stable yields under different conditions. Moreover, ES Danub exhibits good winter hardiness and lodging resistance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in heavy soils and regions with variable climates.
Oil content in the seeds ranges from 44.8% to 48%, with glucosinolate levels not exceeding 15 mMol and erucic acid levels at 0.2%, meeting high quality standards. Yield potential can reach up to 65 centners per hectare, confirmed by trials in the North Caucasus region and other southern areas of Russia, where yield increases over the standard reached up to 22%. Recommended planting density is around 500,000 plants per hectare, with optimal harvest density at 400,000 plants per hectare. ES Danub is an excellent solution for agronomists aiming to achieve healthy, high-quality rapeseed yields with high oil content.

Erucic Acid Content
The amount of erucic acid is assessed as a percentage of the total fatty acid content in seed oil. Initially, rapeseed varieties containing less than 5% erucic acid in their seeds were named low-erucic or "0" varieties. Later, this threshold was changed, and "0" varieties now ref... |
