ES MERKURIY

ES Merkurii is a high-yielding mid-late hybrid of winter rapeseed of French selection, intended for cultivation in regions with sufficient moisture levels. It is characterized by a vegetation period of about 270 days and a time from sowing to flowering of 123 days. Plants reach a height of 130 to 155 cm, possess excellent branching ability and rapid initial development, which contributes to the formation of a stable and high yield. The hybrid is distinguished by high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. ES Merkurii belongs to type 00, which means low erucic acid content (less than 0.2%) and glucosinolates (less than 22 mMol), which improves oil quality. Fat content in seeds varies from 44.4% to 48%, ensuring high oil content of the product. Plants have dark green foliage with moderate serration of edges, and pods are characterized by a short beak and short petiole, which facilitates harvesting and reduces losses during crop collection. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to common rapeseed diseases as well as to seed shattering, which further increases production efficiency. The recommended sowing density is 430,000 to 450,000 seeds per hectare, which optimizes plant growth and development. ES Merkurii has already shown high yield results, reaching in some regions more than 50 centners per hectare, which confirms its potential for obtaining stable and high-quality crops.
