KICKER

The winter rapeseed hybrid Kicker is a medium-maturing crop with a yield potential of up to 60 c/ha and a seed oil content of 47.4%. It is characterized by dynamic autumn development and restrained spring growth, ensuring stable vegetative renewal and enabling effective pesticide application at later growth stages. Plant height is 165-175 cm, and the maturity type is medium-late, making the hybrid suitable for short-term stand interruption and direct combine harvesting.

One of the key features of the rapeseed Kicker is its high cold tolerance and drought resistance, allowing successful cultivation across the entire territory of Ukraine, including heavy soils. Its robust root system with a large number of fine root hairs facilitates efficient nutrient uptake and adaptation to various soil conditions. The hybrid is recommended for short-term crop rotation, expanding its application potential in agronomy.

Kicker possesses genetic resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including root and stem fomosis (RlmS), verticillium wilt, sclerotinia, and alternaria. Additionally, it exhibits high resistance to lodging and pod cracking, contributing to yield preservation and quality improvement. Recommended sowing dates are late, with a seeding rate of 450-550 thousand seeds per hectare, and soil preparation may include plowing, deep tillage, or minimal treatment.
