Lexer

Bayer's winter rapeseed hybrid Lexer is characterized by high winter hardiness and is adapted for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, including Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Bulgaria, and Romania. The rapeseed features robust plants of medium height (170–175 cm) and medium pod length (7–8 cm), which contribute to high yield and resilience to adverse weather conditions. Growth in autumn is slow, further enhancing the crop's winter hardiness and enabling it to withstand harsh winters.

Lexer exhibits high yield potential under production conditions, reaching 45–55 centners per hectare. One of its key features is high oil content in seeds, making it attractive for the oil industry. At the same time, the seeds contain low levels of glucosinolates, which improves product quality and reduces negative effects on the rapeseed's feed properties.

The plants of the Lexer hybrid show good resistance to lodging, ensuring crop preservation and simplifying harvest. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to phomopsis, enhancing its disease resistance and reducing the need for fungicides. Flowering begins early, and maturity occurs early, allowing effective planning of agronomic activities and harvest.
