LORIS

LORIS is a mid-early winter rape (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00 variety, characterized by the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. It features high winter hardiness (4.3 points) and lodging resistance (4.8 points), ensuring stable yields even in complex climatic conditions. The plant has medium height at full flowering, long lateral branches, and high attachment of the lower pod (56.3 cm). The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 4.2 g, while the vegetative period lasts 265-270 days. The variety is resistant to stress factors such as high temperatures and moisture deficit, which is especially important for southern regions of Russia.

LORIS demonstrates high productivity and adaptability, performing best when sown at optimal times and on a high agro-technical foundation. Average seed yield is 40-45 c/ha, while green mass yield reaches 65-70 t/ha. Oil content in seeds varies from 43.3% to 48%, exceeding standard indicators, while protein content reaches 21%. Glucosinolate content is within 13-15 µmol/g, meeting type 00 variety requirements. In oil collection, the variety outperforms the standard by 1.6-2.1 c/ha.

The LORIS variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Central Black Earth, and North Caucasian regions. Thanks to its stability, high oil content, and resistance to unfavorable conditions, it is an excellent choice for obtaining high-quality raw materials for the oilseed industry. Seeds are available both in treated and untreated forms, allowing adaptation of sowing to specific agro-technical conditions.
