Metropol Rapeseed is a medium-early winter rapeseed hybrid selected by Lembke, characterized by high yield potential reaching up to 60 centners per hectare, as well as high oil content and yield. This hybrid possesses genetic resistance to TuYV turnip yellow vein virus, providing reliable protection against critical diseases and contributing to stable yields. Metropol is well adapted to extensive cultivation technology and suitable for various soil types in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie regions, making it a versatile choice for different climatic conditions.

The hybrid is characterized by high drought resistance and medium-high resistance to diseases such as phomopsis and sclerotinia. Autumn plant development is rapid, enabling successful application of early sowing dates and effective use of growth regulators before row closure. Metropol exhibits high winter hardiness, medium-fast vegetative recovery in spring, and medium-early flowering. In addition, the hybrid has very high resistance to pod cracking, reducing yield losses during ripening.

The recommended cultivation technology for Metropol is classical, with optimal early sowing dates. Sowing rates vary depending on sowing time: 400,000–450,000 seeds per hectare for early sowing and 500,000–550,000 for late sowing. Seed packaging is 1.5 million units.
