Ragnar

Ragnar winter rapeseed seeds are a classic mid-season hybrid developed for late sowing. This hybrid is characterized by strong initial growth energy and very rapid autumn development, which is especially important under short-day conditions. Ragnar has high yield potential, reaching 55-65 c/ha, and stable oil content at 46.7%. Recommended sowing dates include optimal, late, and very late, with seeding rates from 350,000 to 550,000 seeds per hectare depending on soil conditions and sowing time.

The hybrid Ragnar is characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to spring frosts, ensuring reliable winter survival. It also demonstrates very high drought tolerance and resistance to lodging and pod cracking. Medium-height plants (175-185 cm) exhibit good tolerance to diseases such as phoma and sclerotinia, as well as resistance to the yellowing virus (TuYV), which is spread by aphids during warm and dry autumns.

Ragnar responds effectively to plant growth regulators, especially in the 6 to 8-leaf stage, and tolerates short-term delays well. Its vegetation period is medium, with moderate spring development and average flowering time. Due to its characteristics, Ragnar is recommended for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine, especially under late sowing conditions, where it demonstrates stable high yields and adaptability to various agroclimatic conditions.
