Redstone

Redstone is an early winter rapeseed hybrid distinguished by high productivity and adaptability to various climatic conditions in Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe regions. The hybrid’s vegetation period is 300–305 days, enabling it to complete its development cycle within optimal timing. The plant reaches a height of approximately 168 cm, with 1000-seed mass ranging from 3.5 to 4 grams. Seeds are round and black, a characteristic feature of this hybrid.

One of Redstone’s key advantages is its high resistance to stress factors such as frost and drought, rated at 9 points. The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to lodging and shattering, significantly reducing harvest losses. Additionally, Redstone is genetically resistant to the herbicide Roundup and its glyphosate-based analogs, facilitating weed control without harming the crop. Pods remain intact until harvest begins, preventing seed loss and yield reduction.

Redstone is characterized by high oil content in seeds — approximately 46.4–46.8% — making it profitable for oilseed production. The recommended seeding rate ranges from 350,000 to 800,000 seeds per hectare, depending on growing conditions and agronomic practices. The hybrid exhibits high germination energy and plasticity in sowing timing, ensuring stable yields ranging from 30 to 70 centners per hectare under intensive management, including micronutrient application. Redstone is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve consistent, high-quality winter rapeseed yields.
